Junior is the founder of the zoo, with him begins the inspiration and the project to create a center where help and protection can be provided to wild animals that are victims of abuse and illegal trade in species.
Junior was rescued in 2012 from a market in Piura where they had it for sale and displayed in a very small cage. He was only a few months old, however he was rescued and delivered to our care. In our center was rehabilitated.
Enjoy the environmental enrichment we offer you, especially those that come enveloped because it likes to destroy all the wrappers. He is currently over 5 years old and is in good health.
