Pillot is a black eagle that was rescued in 2009 by the Ecological Police of Lima and delivered to a small zoo to receive the first medical attention.
He had lost his left eye from some shot that was shot to capture him. He managed to be rehabilitated and after some years he was relocated and given to our care. It is a quiet and noble bird. He likes to select his prey at lunchtime and enjoys moving from one other hanger inside his enclosure. Pillot has helped raise awareness among many children to know that wild animals are not pets.
